This article will explain what campaign groups are and how to manage them. Management of campaign groups is available to administrators only.
What is a Campaign Group?
A campaign group is a mechanism that allows you to organize your campaigns into collections independent of the application they are part of. You can use groups to organize campaigns into multiple logical sets based on their type, use case, or the team that will be managing them. If your integration requires a specific application set-up that is not a 1 to 1 mapping with who is actually managing which campaigns and why, then campaign groups allow you to structure your campaigns in a more logical way.
At the moment, the key benefit of campaign groups is that they will allow you to restrict access for users to only campaigns belonging to a specific group. This means you do not have to give users permission to a full application if they should only have access to only specific campaigns.
Creating a New Campaign Group
Campaign groups can only be created and managed by administrators. Start by navigating to Account > Organization > Campaign Groups and click the "Create Campaign Group" button in the top right corner.
On the following page, give a name and description for your new campaign group. Then, select which applications this campaign group should be enabled for. Enabling a campaign group for an application means that campaigns belonging to this group can be created in that application.
Once the group has been created, you can now assign users to it. Click "Add User" and then select the user that should receive permissions for this group.
Once you added the user, you can choose their desired permissions level.

Using Campaign Groups When Creating Campaigns
Once the campaign group was defined and enabled for an application, you will have access to this group when creating a new campaign:
Each campaign can only belong to one group (or to no group at all).
You can always change a campaign's group in the campaign settings under the details section (assuming you have permission to do so):
Additionally, the campaigns overview list will allow you to filter for campaigns belonging only to a certain group. Users with permissions to only 1 or more specific groups will only be able to see campaigns of that group.
