In this article you will learn how to export coupons from a campaign in your Talon. One account. To export coupons using the Management API, please review this documentation with your developers.

First you will need to create a campaign then navigate to the Coupons page. From here, you can either import coupons, create coupons for immediate export or export existing codes.

Import Coupons

On the Coupons page, click the arrow on the Create Coupons button to open a drop down menu offering Import and Export of coupons, and select Import Coupons.

This will open the Import Coupons page.

Here you can submit a CSV file of coupon codes to be imported. An example file is available to ensure the formatting is correct. The value column needs to have a value, but all others can be blank.
If no limit is set for a coupon, it defaults to single-use.

Export New Codes

  1. Navigate to the Coupons page
  2. Click Create Coupons and fill in the required settings
  3. Once you define the settings for your codes click Create
  4. A pop-up will appear with the Batch ID
  5. Click the Export Coupons Button

Export Existing Codes

On the Coupons page, click the arrow on the Create Coupons button to open a drop down menu offering Import and Export of coupons, and select Export Coupons.

Export Settings

From the Export Coupons page you can choose to export coupon code data in the following ways.

After a specific date

Choose the date and time codes were created after.

After a recent export

Choose the last coupon export from the drop down, you will export all codes created after this date.

Specific Batch

Every time you generate new codes, a Batch ID is associated with this specific group of codes.

Enter in the Batch ID for the group of coupons you want to export. This will appear automatically if you have just generated coupon codes or you can paste the ID to filter for this group of codes.

Select the date format

Here you can specify which format you want to export your coupons. You can select either:

  1. For Excel (Europe/Berlin Timezone)
  2. Standard (Gregorian Calendar)
Once you have set the required filters, you are ready to filter your coupon codes. Click Download List to successfully export your coupons.
